Overview
Flotation that lifts what settling leaves behind
Dissolved air flotation introduces microscopic air bubbles into the waste stream under pressure. As the bubbles rise they attach to fats, oils, greases and low-density suspended solids, floating them to the surface where a skimmer removes them as a concentrated float layer.
It is the right answer wherever contaminants are lighter than water, or close enough to neutral buoyancy that gravity settling alone will not separate them in a sensible footprint. Ion Agua offers corrosion-resistant designs, which makes the technology equally suited to removing iron from high salt content brines.
We supply semi-automated and fully-automated pump technology systems, in capacities ranging from 100 to 5,000 gallons per minute.
